Art and Music and wine tasting, always a great combination! Exhibition at the Domaine de Mathouans as part of the ‘Portes Ouvertes’ all day in Latour-de-France, with degustations 12 private organic “Bio” winemakers, puppet theatre by La Petite Vitesse and music by the Fanfarfelue and friends including Nathalie and Mike and the Catastrophone. Thanks again for organizing this fantastic event!

Here is a chance to see a great selection of my work in a most magnificent setting. 37 paintings, including the most recent and the biggest ones, are on show in the Galerie des Hospices from 15 January until 13 march. It is a group exhibition together with N. Disaro, I. Pons, and M. Malaman, two painters and two sculptors, showing a nice contrast between blue and bright, metal and manga.

The Espace Europeenne d’art contemporaine in Gruissan is a fantastic, grand space, where we have the chance to exhibit some bigger artwork during the whole of September. The Vernissage on the 5th of September was followed by an opulent 3 course meal in the middle of the gallery, a very unique way of enjoying art with all senses.

On wednesday was the Vernissage at the Petite Galerie in Cascastel, very nicely arranged by the gallery owners Marion and Siegfried Uecker. Eva has her latest “open-minded” figures on show, and Marco a good selection of the last 4 years, from flying rats, to starry nights, to the latest Africa series. The exhibition is open every day 16 - 19 hrs until 10 August...

Cave Cooperative Mont Tauch, Tuchan

The fete du vin is one of the biggest events here in Tuchan, especially this year with the opening of the new “Caveau” wine shop and multi-media exhibition centre. Our paintings and pots are on show in the salle d’exposition (directly on your right as you come in) throughout summer.

Painters Prize “Prix Public Adulte”, at the Concours des Peinture, Toulouges, France

I was one of 33 painters to be part of the painters competition in Toulouges. We started at 8 a. m. in the morning, with a 150 x 150 cm canvas and 5 tubes of acrylic paint each, and we had until 12 o’clock midday to finish our painting on the theme sol-air. Later on the same day, I found out that I had won the “Prix Public Adulte”. Hurray! Thank you, people of Toulouges!

Opening of Atelier ArtBonBon, France

Today saw the opening of Atelier ArtBonBon, our own gallery/open studio showing our pots and paintings. After nearly a year of work, which included putting in floor and window and electricity, and a lot of help from Lisa, Jackson, Joe, Amy, Dave, Rhys and others we could finally open our doors to the public.
At the evening we enjoyed a ‘degustation de vin bio’, tasting local organic wine from the Domaine de St Juste (presented and made by Ulrike and Rémy Miquel from Durban).
The new Fanfare from Villeneuve “Rambalh et Bruch” (organised by Daniel) opened the musical side of the evening, followed by “Fanfarfelue”, our fantastic musical family from Perpignan,
Lots of people turned up, tourists and locals, including the mayor and the council, and after sunset we had a banquette on the street with delicious food served and barbecued by Sonja, Christian, Roli and Zeljka.
Thanks everyone for all the help to make this happen!

Le Violon Vert - permanent exhibition, Bretagne, France

Our friends and lovely people Su and John are running a Celtic Music Bar/Organic Restaurant near Le Faouet in Brittany, where a selection of my paintings are on permanent display. For a perfect evening out, you can eat, drink and play (or listen to) music there, and then stay at their B&B, or in a tent, all about an hour`s drive from the ferry port in Roscoff. There were over 30 paintings on show in Treliske Hospital (then the show moved to West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance for 3 months), which nicely brightened up lots of people`s visit to the hospital.
